Becky Isbell began painting under the tutelage of Jane Spears in Wichita Falls, Texas. Since then, she has taken workshops from Pam Ingalls, Phil Bob Borman, Joe Anna Arnett, Michael Workman, and Aaron Bushnell while working on her craft. She participated last year in a national juried art competition in Graham, Texas, a show in Breckenridge, Texas, the Wichita Falls Museum and Art Center, the Kemp Center for the Arts, and in the Pecan Creek Artist’s annual “Deck the Walls” art show. Becky’s paintings reflect her interests in architecture and interiors, as well as figures of children and people in their everyday lives such as playing on a beach, sitting in a restaurant, or walking in the park.”Art helps me see the world around me in a different way. As I study how to transfer something to canvas, I am continually awed by God’s handiwork. There are so many visual gifts He gives us to enjoy. Painting helps me to not take any of them for granted.” Becky and her husband live in Wichita Falls, Texas. They have three children and are blessed with five grandchildren.
